Andrew has been designing and working in the Bay Area since 2007, working with Foothill Theatre Conservatory, Dragon Productions and The Playwrights Foundation. Andrew has also performed project management duties on corporate and private events for Impact Lighting and Production.
Andrew grew up in theater, volunteering in his teens at Peninsula Youth Theater (PYT), where he met, worked with and learned much from Chris Karabats. While at PYT Andrew learned to build scenery and taught himself to weld.
Andrew spent six years as an 'on-site supervisor' for Impact Lighting and Production, preparing, periodically designing and installing event lighting for corporate and private events.
in 2015 Andrew started working as a Lab Technician at Google, running and maintaining 3D Printers , laser etchers, designing mounts and housings for a research engineering team. In 2017 Andrew left Google to work at Toyota Research institute as a Lab Technician, building out their workshop and building maintaining and testing robotics infrastructure and components.
In 2023 Andrew returned to the entertainment industry working through IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) Local 16 as an Electrician, Board Op, Rigger and Carpenter.
